Saint Valentina Hajdini, born on May 22nd, 1951 in Tirana, Albania, is our Mother of Sonida and I, who went to be with the LORD, shot by a stray bullet on January 25th, 1999; and after a week of coma in Yanina, Greece, the neuro-sergeant and the anesthetist were not able to operate her. At that time, St. Valentina was the Director of Human Resources at National Institute of Public Health (IPH) in Tirana, Albania from 1987-1999. She passed away in the hospital in Yanina, Greece on Saturday, 30th of January 1999; while I received the news on early morning of Super-Bowl Sunday, at around 3:15 A.M. Tulsa, Oklahoma time, while I was studying in the Biology Major, with concentration in Pre-Medicine Track. Thank you Mom, for being there for us, while we grew up with family loved ones and relatives, and the church, which you loved so much. Rest in Peace!
